“So whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, do everything for the Greater Glory of God” – 1 Corinthians 10:31
We, the brothers of Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, pledge from this day forth to glorify God through our actions and unified brotherhood. Guided by the power of the Holy Spirit, with the Blessed Mother as our model, we proclaim our dedication to growing in the Catholic faith.
We have come together as one body in Christ, to join into a lifelong covenant with God, whose mercy and love strengthen us as we live our Christian lives. Together in our bond of brotherhood, we support and strengthen each other physically, academically, and spiritually that we may become true men of Christ. Jesus is the Word, and together as men of Christ we seek to spread the Word wherever we go.
Under the watchful eye of our guardian angels and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we, the brothers of AMDG, consecrate our household to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Taking and honoring Mary as the perfect model of devotion and submission, we beseech God to grant us the grace to conform to no will but His own and to say “yes” as Mary did.
As Catholics, it is our responsibility to embrace the teachings of the Church, directed by our Holy Father here on earth, the Pope. From this day on, we the brothers of Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam leave ourselves behind and go forth “For the Greater Glory of God” and with open arms invite all to join us.
