Lion of Judah

We in the Lion of Judah desire to become disciples of the Lion of Judah. The purpose of household is to be a place of formation for the men who are in Lion of Judah. We want to be a household of men that are whole; both in body and soul. Lion of Judah should be a household that others look to as a model of strength, leadership, and balance. This will be shown by our characteristics of humility, self-control, righteousness, diversity, assertiveness, and service. Being inclusive and preventing cliques will be sought after. The goal is to form men of balance in all aspects of their lives. We in Lion of Judah seek to be a light to other households on campus. We want to be men who are known for their humility and servants hearts.

Seraphic Valor

Through the creation of the universe, God revealed to us how to live during the week. He reveals the sacredness of the week through its order and goodness. He invites us into the Paschal Mystery of the week through our desire to serve and worship Him. This desire is fulfilled when we accept the Sabbath as a gift from God, and with the Seraphim, worship Him in holy leisure. We call upon the angels, who are more fully aware of the sacredness and goodness of God’s creation, for guidance as we live the Paschal mystery of the week.

Corpus Christi

We are a group of passionate men dedicated to living out lives of purity with joy, dignity and service. We hope to communicate the distinct intrinsic dignity of the human person and the true, good, and beautiful meaning of chastity with a fervor for preaching, a devotion to the Body of Christ as present in the Holy Eucharist, and by modeling Saint John Paul the Great’s Theology of the Body. As the Catechism defines chastity, it is “the successful integration of sexuality within the person and thus the inner unity of man in his bodily and spiritual being” (CCC 2337). This too brings us back to the Eucharist. As St. Phillip Neri said, “Chastity is not possible without the Eucharist.”

Soldiers Under Command

“For the struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.” Ephesians 6:12

This statement summarizes our struggle up earth. a struggle with most important of spoils:the souls of mankind. We realize that our ultimate fate hinges upon this battle. Therefore, we have up the call.

In His Image

We, the brothers of In His Image household, desire to be more fully formed in the image and likeness of God. Recognizing our call, as individuals and as a body, to live out this goal, we commit ourselves to Christ and to one another in the Holy Spirit to be men truly formed In His Image. Being filled with a holy zeal, we seek to grow in Christian maturity through a common life of worship, study, service, and recreation. From this desire flows the spirit and structure of In His Image.

Disciples of the Word

We who are Disciples of the WORD strive to live our daily lives growing in faith, love, and knowledge of the Word of God through constant struggle against mediocrity and through diligent meditation. We profess that indeed, “…the WORD of God is living and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating even between soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart.” ~ Hebrews 4:12

Brothers of the Eternal Song

We the brothers of the Eternal Song, wish to state our intent of commitment together. We hereby commit ourselves to these three commands that our Lord has asked of us.We commit ourselves to pursue with every effort, through the intercession of Mary, a personal and intimate relationship with our Lord, Master, Captain, and Song, Jesus Christ, and to fulfill that with the graces given in personal prayer and the sacraments of His most Holy Catholic Church as often as possible. We wish to be Servants of God first and foremost, and to live according to His teaching.

Conquer Through Love

As members of Conquer Through Love we have a conviction to build loving relationships with all people, that our desire to spread God’s love may draw others to a deeper unity in Christ. We challenge one another to love unconditionally, encourage each other to participate in the sacraments and daily prayer, and support our brothers in bearing their crosses by claiming the passion of Jesus as our victory.

Daughters of Divine Mercy

As Christ’s own daughters, we strive to place our trust always in His Divine Mercy. Through the daily example of our individual lives and the life of our household, we endeavor to remind the world of the merciful love of God towards every human being.“ Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy steadfast love; according to Thy abundant mercy, blot out my transgressions.” Ps 51:1
