Theotokos

We are consecrated to Jesus through Mary so that Theotokos, the mother of God, God-Bearer will nourish us and make us God-Bearers in the sense that the light of the living God within us will shine brightly from our hearts and we will be a witness to all we come in contact with to the Greatness and Glory of God by our imitation of our beloved Mother.

Pater Noster

We as brothers of Pater Noster household at Franciscan University of Steubenville recognize that all men are called to live out the virtues of fatherhood. The longing for God is present in every human heart. As Christian men, we seek to emulate God the Father. Out of this, it is natural that all men are called to lead others to mystery of the Trinity through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Handmaids of the Lord

As handmaids of the Lord, we are called to do the will of God in our lives. We strive for unity as sisters in Christ and for growth in individual prayer. We want to fall so in love with Jesus that His love will overflow to all aspects of our lives and the lives of others. To do this we give our lives to our most Blessed Mother and try to emulate her pure and undying love for our Lord.

Regina Angelorum

We the women of Regina Angelorum, in adhering to God’s will, are called to combat the forces of evil through the intercession of Mary and the Holy Angels. We realize that the fight against Satan’s powers cannot be taken alone. This is why God, in his goodness and love, has given us the gift of our sisters to witness to each other and to challenge one another to love as Christ loves.

Carae Domini

Carae Domini means “Beloved of the Master.” As daughters of God and sisters to each other, we come together to commit ourselves to God, His Holy Will, and His image and likeness in one another. We unite to give praise and thanksgiving to our God in a special way. Sharing every aspect of our lives together, we strive for balance both as individuals and as a community. Seeking to grow in faith and holiness, we promise to encourage one another to see ourselves and therefore to live as the Beloved of the Master.
